G comme glasses case, ou étui à lunettes.
Que faire de ces étuis quand les lunettes ne sont plus adaptées (et données pour le recyclage) ?
Voilà des idées pour soi, ou pour offrir.

G is for glasses case.
What to do with these cases when the glasses no longer fit (and given for recycling)?
Here are some ideas for yourself, or to give as a gift.

  1. The earphone idea is genious. The wires get all tangled in everything. Thanks for the storage idea and the lovely examples of colorful fabrics.

  4. Dearest Frederique - I have not been over to visit your excellent theme this year before now. My own challenge to complete the novel is heavy going especially as I have lots to do for my "real" job since we came back from Crete. I think I will be re-visiting your posts after all the hullabaloo of A2Z is finished.
I am completely with you on Spectacle Cases! I have several in my man-bag - spare glasses fo sure but also the BEST place for earphones! I also have a little plastic box, re-purposed to contain a set of miniature crochet hooks and some wool so that I need NEVER be bored...
Thanks for visiting so faithfully - todays instalment

  5. I've got quite a few glass cases. I've always kept them because it seemed a shame to throw them away. Now you've given me a couple great ideas!

  9. Such innovative ideas. Storing headphones in there would be the best to keep them untangled. Of course, my phone case tends to break before my glasses do.

  10. Every time I come here I find something else that I want to make, and you haven't failed me with this post, I'm going to do the headphones one with my dads glasses case, he passed a few years ago and I have his and moms glasses, I will get a deep photo frame and put the glasses into it, then display, and use the case for the earphones. - Thank you again.

  12. Loving the sewing kit idea! I can see cute kid novelty prints used for the crayon case. I've also seen quilter's use old cases for their rotary cutters which would be great covered in a sewing or quilting themed novelty print. Great inspiration and re-use ideas!

  16. I'm excited to put this idea to use, especially for carrying my earbuds and charging cords. Currently, they are contained inside a plastic bag (boring!), in my purse.

  19. They are very cool ideas for glasses, except in Australia we can donate our old glasses and cases to be repurposed for eyewear for people in disadvantaged countries, so that's what I do with mine.

  20. Very neat ideas...my problem is that my glass-cases get tattered/broken/lost--I'm not good at keeping them well.
