Every day during the whole month of April except Sundays, I will write a post starting with each letter of the alphabet. This year my theme is, in the textile universe, about upcycling, recycling and repurposing. Lots of good easy DIY ideas!
And you can play too! See below.

Turn your old towels into something practical, useful and environmentally friendly. Reusable, these "sheets" replace disposable paper towels.

Dressed in fabric or made entirely of terry cloth.

This is a good idea. I'm gonna try it. Thank you Frederique.
RépondreSupprimerWe do use old terry towels for wiping and cleaning though we don't make them look this cute. :D
RépondreSupprimerLove the bath mat, it's exactly the same colours as my bathroom!
RépondreSupprimerHere's my E!
ce sont plutôt les vieux draps que je recycle en essuie tout!
RépondreSupprimerSome great tips!

Terry Cloth is one of my favorite fabrics. Makes me feel so comfortable. I love public bathrooms that give you single wash cloths to dry your hands instead of a yucky air dryer or paper that has been recycled a million times.
RépondreSupprimerEven more ideas for after April, thank you.
RépondreSupprimerI've seen the reusable paper towels before. It's a good idea. Less wasteful.
RépondreSupprimerGreat ideas. I never much thought of what to do with worn towels. I think they just get turned into dog towels. I used to use them as Guinea pig flooring in their "front yard" area outside the cages to protect the rug. The reused towels in the photos seem much thinner than my towels. I don't know that mine would work well.
RépondreSupprimerSo many great ideas. Thank you Frederique
RépondreSupprimerWonderful, creative ideas... again! I have some towels that need replaced, so now I'll be thinking about ways to use the old ones.
RépondreSupprimerSo many great ideas. Thank you Frederique
RépondreSupprimerGreat ideas. I especially like the bath mat.
RépondreSupprimerEach day so many good, practical ideas. Seems way better than using paper. I bet that bath rug works great.
RépondreSupprimerHonestly, a good towel that actually dries the pot or the body is hard to find!

We always turn our old towels into cleaning rags but these projects are so much cuter. Weekends In Maine
RépondreSupprimerThe bath mat looks so beautiful....
RépondreSupprimerI love ideas about reusing things .... we can really unleash our creativity that way

You have a beautiful theme going on here

Ha ha, I mostly use old socks instead of paper towels, but these are sure prettier! I have to keep my stash of socks in a bin under the sink, not out on the counter.

RépondreSupprimerMerci Frédérique, ce sont de bonnes idées!
RépondreSupprimerGreat idea! Although my bath towels are usually pretty trashed when I'm finished with them.
RépondreSupprimerCatching up your posts ....
RépondreSupprimerLovely work. Pretty designs too.
I like the bath mat - it's so pretty. I still have all the cloth nappies from when my Barbarians were bubs, and I use them for everything. At the moment we have a puppy so they are being used a little more for something similar to what they were intended for, lol.
