G comme glasses case, ou étui à lunettes.
Que faire de ces étuis quand les lunettes ne sont plus adaptées (et données pour le recyclage) ?
Voilà des idées pour soi, ou pour offrir.
G is for glasses case.
What to do with these cases when the glasses no longer fit (and given for recycling)?
Here are some ideas for yourself, or to give as a gift.

The earphone idea is genious. The wires get all tangled in everything. Thanks for the storage idea and the lovely examples of colorful fabrics.
RépondreSupprimerSewing kit! What a neat idea! I'm going to have to do this with one of my cases...

Beautiful photos!
RépondreSupprimerThank you for reminding me of a project I have in mind to cover a rather worn box with fabric.

Dearest Frederique - I have not been over to visit your excellent theme this year before now. My own challenge to complete the novel is heavy going especially as I have lots to do for my "real" job since we came back from Crete. I think I will be re-visiting your posts after all the hullabaloo of A2Z is finished.
RépondreSupprimerI am completely with you on Spectacle Cases! I have several in my man-bag - spare glasses fo sure but also the BEST place for earphones! I also have a little plastic box, re-purposed to contain a set of miniature crochet hooks and some wool so that I need NEVER be bored...
Thanks for visiting so faithfully - todays instalment

I've got quite a few glass cases. I've always kept them because it seemed a shame to throw them away. Now you've given me a couple great ideas!
RépondreSupprimerSimple and such wonderful ideas!! I specially liked the sewing-kit and earphones. So neat. Thanks for this.
RépondreSupprimerWe can fill them up with tiny beads or beans and use it as a rattle for babies?

intéressant up cycling, le boitier rigide doit être super pratique!
RépondreSupprimerSuch innovative ideas. Storing headphones in there would be the best to keep them untangled. Of course, my phone case tends to break before my glasses do.
RépondreSupprimerEvery time I come here I find something else that I want to make, and you haven't failed me with this post, I'm going to do the headphones one with my dads glasses case, he passed a few years ago and I have his and moms glasses, I will get a deep photo frame and put the glasses into it, then display, and use the case for the earphones. - Thank you again.
RépondreSupprimerI love the ideas for the eye glass case - the ear buds and charging cord! nice
RépondreSupprimerLoving the sewing kit idea! I can see cute kid novelty prints used for the crayon case. I've also seen quilter's use old cases for their rotary cutters which would be great covered in a sewing or quilting themed novelty print. Great inspiration and re-use ideas!
RépondreSupprimerExcellent ways of using old cases!
RépondreSupprimerInteresting idea.
RépondreSupprimerExcellent ideas!

Oh... my... goodness! The little sewing kit! I NEVER thought to do ANYTHING with old glass cases! You are changing my life! Some are so cute, and I know I have a few in the closet!
RépondreSupprimerI'm excited to put this idea to use, especially for carrying my earbuds and charging cords. Currently, they are contained inside a plastic bag (boring!), in my purse.
RépondreSupprimerWhat a fabulous idea - I'm definitely going to give this a try.
RépondreSupprimerMore handy dandy ideas!
RépondreSupprimerI never thought to use them as little mini storage kits. These are great ideas. We always have a few of this cases around the house. I'm going to have to give this a try! Weekends In Maine
RépondreSupprimerThey are very cool ideas for glasses, except in Australia we can donate our old glasses and cases to be repurposed for eyewear for people in disadvantaged countries, so that's what I do with mine.
RépondreSupprimerVery neat ideas...my problem is that my glass-cases get tattered/broken/lost--I'm not good at keeping them well.
RépondreSupprimerMy glasses cases die or are lost long before I replace the glasses.
RépondreSupprimerGreat ideas. I like the sewing kit.
RépondreSupprimerI like the idea of using them for all the cords and earphones and stuff.
