Mon objectif du mois. My monthly goal for July. Ou plutôt mes objectifs du mois, puisque j'aimerais bien terminer 2 quilts en cours : les noeuds papillons, et les plus. Or rather my goals for the month, since I'd like to finish 2 quilts in progress: the Bow Tie, and the Plus. Pour terminer le quilt noeuds papillon, il faut : assembler les blocs, et le quilter. To finish the Bow Tie quilt, I have to: assemble the blocks, and quilt it.

Mon objectif du mois : quilter Huahine, le Modern Bargello. My monthly goal for June: quilt Huahine, the Modern Bargello quilt. Je l'ai mis de côté depuis un moment, depuis novembre 2020 , il est temps de m'en occuper ! Mon objectif du mois : quilter le Modern Drunkard's Path. My monthly goal for March: quilt the Modern Drunkard's Path quilt.

Retour sur mon objectif du mois. Back to my monthly goal for March. Le mois d'avril est déjà bientôt terminé, et je n'ai pas fait ce que j'avais prévu... Par contre j'ai fait autre chose ! C'est un test pour habiller les chaises d'école, un modèle assez simple pour être fait par les élèves eux-mêmes. April is already almost over, and I didn't do what I had planned... But I did do something else!  This is a test for dressing school chairs, a pattern simple enough to be made by the students themselves. Une pochette de chaise ! A chair pocket!

Mon objectif du mois : quilter le Modern Drunkard's Path. My monthly goal for March: quilt the Modern Drunkard's Path quilt. Je n'ai pas encore sérieusement réfléchi au quilting, j'hésite entre un quilting dense, et un quilting "léger". A voir... I haven't seriously thought about quilting yet, I'm wavering between dense quilting, and "light" quilting. To be continued...   Avril va être très occupé par le Challenge A to Z , j'espère pouvoir compléter mon objectif ! Cela dit, je suis à jour selon le calendrier du QAL Courbes de Cécile et Corinne, qui donnent avril et mai pour le quilting. Au pire, j'ai 2 mois pour trouver le ou les motifs et les exécuter 😋 April is going to be very busy with the A to Z Challenge , I hope to complete my goal! That said, I am up to date with Cecile and Corinne's QAL Curves schedule, which gives April and May for quilting. At worst, I have 2 months to find the quilting designs and execute them  😋 Elm...

Mon objectif du mois était d'assembler les 18 blocs Modern Drunkard's Path, et de terminer le top. My goal for the month was to assemble all 18 Modern Drunkard's Path blocks, and finish the top. C'est chose faite ! It's done! Alors oui, il y a des demi-blocs et des quarts de blocs mais il y en a 18 quand même ! C'est mon projet pour le QAL de Cécile et Corinne, qui demandaient de coudre au moins 16 courbes. Mes 18 blocs en totalisent 156, si si !! So yes, there are half blocks and quarter blocks but there are 18 anyway! This is my project for Cécile and Corinne's QAL, which asked to sew at least 16 curves. My 18 blocks add up to 156, yes they do! Mon objectif du mois : assembler les blocs Modern Drunkard's Path. My monthly goal for March: assemble the Modern Drunkard's Path top. C'est un objectif facile puisqu'il n'y a que 18 blocs à assembler.  Il me reste à les équerrer, les assembler, et réfléchir au quilting. J'ai déjà une petite idée, mais il faut encore quelques croquis pour arriver à ce que je sois satisfaite ! It's an easy goal since there are only 18 blocks to assemble.  I still have to square them, assemble them, and think about quilting. I already have a small idea, but I need a few more sketches to get me satisfied! A la fin du mois... At the end of the month... ... il est l'heure de faire le bilan de l'objectif fixé début février : terminer les 18 blocs du QAL Courbes. ... it's time to assess the goal set at the beginning of February: to complete the 18 blocks of the QAL Curves. 1, 2, 3... 18 ! Oui, ils sont tous là ! 👀 Pas de photo des 18 parce que je ne veux pas tout démonter de mon mur, mais ils y sont ! La photo d'ensemble, ce sera pour le mois prochain quand les blocs seront assemblés. 1, 2, 3... 18! L'objectif du mois est atteint ! The monthly goal is achieved! Mon objectif pour le mois de janvier était de faire les 6 premiers blocs du QAL Courbes, qui ont chacun 20 courbes. C'est beaucoup pour moi, mais avec ma méthode facile , ça s'est assez bien passé. Les 2 premiers blocs sont là , les suivants là , puis ici . My January OMG (One Monthly Goal) was to make the first 6 blocks for the QAL Curves, which have 20 curves each. That's a lot for me, but with my easy method , it went quite smoothly. The first 2 blocks are here , next ones are here , then here . 📈 Le 1er objectif de l'année, et un nouveau projet ! The 1st goal of the year, and a new project! Le thème du challenge de Cécile et Corinne me plaît beaucoup : les courbes . Je n'en ai fait que très peu pour le moment - pour le quilt Grand Nord - et une fois touvée la technique qui m'allait bien, j'ai bien aimé. Mais en faire tout un quilt, ça c'est un challenge pour moi !  Allez, un projet audacieux pour bien commencer l'année ! The theme of Cecile and Corinne's challenge pleases me a lot: curves . I've done very few for the moment - for the Grand Nord quilt - and once I found the technique that suited me, I liked it. But making a whole quilt out of it, that's a challenge for me!  Come on, an audacious project to make a good year start! Le voilà, quilté et fini. Here it is, quilted and bound. Mes projets sont prêts ! My projects are ready! Pour le mois de novembre, je me suis fixé comme objectif de terminer le quilting de Santa in the Woods , et de commencer celui de Modern Bargello Huahine . For November, I set a goal to finish the quilting on Santa in the Woods , and start quilting Modern Bargello Huahine . J'ai une idée du motif que je vais faire dans la partie restante, à gauche. Bon, ce n'est pas encore sûr, mais il me reste tout le mois pour réfléchir encore ! I have an idea of the pattern I'm going to do in the remaining part on the left. Well, it's not sure yet, but I have the whole month to think again! Pour Huahine, j'ai plusieurs options, mais de plus en plus de préférence pour l'une d'entre elles. La réflexion avance bien ! L'objectif du mois est atteint ! The monthly goal is achieved! Je me suis engagée en début de mois à commencer le quilting de Santa in the Woods. C'est fait, et même pas mal avancé ! Il reste une grande zone sur la gauche, mais ce sera pour plus tard. At the beginning of the month I committed myself to start quilting Santa in the Woods. It's done, and quite advanced! There's still a big area on the left, but that's for later. Des lignes courbes autour et au pied des arbres, des lignes droites inégales entre. Tout ça pour suggérer les couches de neige. Curved lines around and at the foot of the trees, uneven straight lines in between. All this to suggest the layers of snow.
