Mes derniers achats :  1 m pour le bleu et le vert,  2 m pour le tissu tapa qui a de gros motifs : Fabric stash report:  one meter for the blue and the green fabrics,  two meters for the tapa fabric with large motifs: Ils sont beaux, hein ? I love them!

Le  Hiro'a de ce mois (c'est une petite brochure gratuite sur les événements culturels de Polynésie) parle du Salon du tifaifai, et il y a une interview de l'anthropologue Joyce D. Festival en Arizona / Arizona Quilters' Guild Show

Mi-mars, le Festival 2013 de l'Arizona Quilters' Guild s'est tenu autour du thème "Tendances et traditions". 15e Salon du tifaifai 2013 / Tifaifai Show

Le 15ème salon du tifaifai est basé cette année sur le thème de la « Reproduction de tifaifai d'antan », et s'appuye sur une décoration à base de « Ape » (Alocasia maccrorrhiza pour ceux qui veulent savoir), une plante de la famille de l'arum. This year, the Tifaifai showcase (traditionnal Tahitian patchwork) is about "Reproduction of ancian tifaifai", and based on " Ape " (Alocasia maccrorrhiza), a uge Tahitian plant. Une trentaine de mamas originaires de Tahiti, des Australes et des îles Sous-le-vent exposent leurs oeuvres, fait main ou machine. About 30 women coming from several French Polynesian islands are exposing their traditionnal patchworks, sewed by hand or machine.
