  1. Lace can be added to pretty much anything, right? Clothes, furniture, mug warmers...

  4. The lampshade is so attractive! I have a ribbon lying around, something I brought for a craft project. I think I'll try something with it. :)

  12. While visiting one of my ancestral lands, Belgium, I watched a lacemaker crafting her wares and fell in love with Belgian lace.

  13. I love the look of lace although, personally, I wouldn't use it on a flowerpot. I really liked the napkin with lace utensil holder. I used to crochet doilies using cotton thread, which isn't the same thing as lace, but pretty in its own way.

  14. This lace is gorgeous! I planned to take up tatting during the pandemic, but was lured by Zoom into various webinars and workshops on all and sundry topics. But your post inspires me to give it a go again! Visiting from A to Z https://mollyscanopy.com/2021/04/line-dancing-and-long-distance-friendships-atozchallenge/#comments

  15. Lovely lace. My grandmother could tat and did extraordinarily fine work. I can't even manage knitting with big yarn. :-)

  18. I really like those lace doily bowls! Now I want to do a walk-around my house and see what items could use a touch of lace!

  19. I have just seen lace reused for masks! (obviously, it was put over solid fabric, otherwise it would have been useless). It looked pretty.

  20. My mother made lace, she taught lace making too. You've given me an idea or two what I can use some or it for.
