Every day during the whole month of April except Sundays, I write a post starting with each letter of the alphabet. This year my theme is, in the textile universe, about upcycling, recycling and repurposing. Lots of good easy DIY ideas!

Aujourd'hui, on customise les pansements pour les enfants (et pour les grands aussi !)
X is for ➕, or the green cross, the symbol of the pharmacy (at least in France !).
Today, we customize bandages for children (and for adults too!)

When the Barbarians were young, I used to buy those character bandaids for them. It's amazing the healing power of the Wiggles!
RépondreSupprimerX-stitch!
RépondreSupprimerThe bandaids are cute. If I started making these, I'll be using one every day just to flaunt them. :D
RépondreSupprimercan't even keep the store bought ones in stock around here... I'd never be able to keep up with making pretty ones!!!
RépondreSupprimerA cute band-aid makes all the difference! I used to have Disney Cars themed ones for my son. It usually made him feel better :-)

Alors, qu'est-ce qu'on ne peut pas décorer avec du tissus? Je pense que la liste sera moins longue de cette façon, lol. ;^)
RépondreSupprimerI love those bandaides how cute!
RépondreSupprimerClever X and cute too:)
RépondreSupprimerVery cute.
RépondreSupprimerI was thinking I have to tuck away that tip for future grandkids but I might even be able to entice my 20-somethings with the right fabric on a band-aid!
RépondreSupprimerbonne idée ces beaux pansements!
RépondreSupprimerThe Green Cross has become the symbol for marijuana dispensaries here in California!
RépondreSupprimerOops ;))
SupprimerThe bandages we buy aren't nearly as interesting as these. Actually the ones we get are transparent. I do remember getting Disney character bandaids for our kids, though. That was fun.
RépondreSupprimerSorry for falling behind with my visits but in the coming days I plan to catch up. ;)
X-ray Looney Tunes A-Z Art Sketch
Very cute, but I'm never going to go to the trouble! A green plus sign (not an X for me) is, like Anne says, a medical marijuana dispensary. I'm in Oregon.
RépondreSupprimerFunny - I remember on holiday in France as a child and the green crosses everywhere really stood out - at the time it was rare to see lit up signs on the streets around the UK.

There used to be an advertisement on TV about a lady who gets a gash while cooking and uses a band aid .... I somehow was fascinated by the juicy tomatoes she washes under the sink to show that its wash proof... so much that I still remember it clearly :)

Those bandages are almost too pretty to use!
RépondreSupprimerc'est amusant et certainement les bobos guérissent plus vite!
RépondreSupprimerI never thought to use scraps to make my bandages cute. It's such a fun idea. Weekends In Maine
RépondreSupprimerIn the United States, we can buy "character" bandaids with different cartoon characters - but these are so much nicer! A cute use of fabric scraps for those with children or grandchildren. They would make a fantastic gift.
RépondreSupprimerCute. It's always funny to have the character ones on hand when an adult needs one.
RépondreSupprimerSo many X-words, so many colorful patterns. I love the idea of making fancy band-aids for children. It makes the pain so much more bearable.
RépondreSupprimerThanks for visiting my site today.

I don't think they had these when my kids were young. They would encourage a child to wear one though :)
RépondreSupprimerThis is such a creative way to get your X! Cute
RépondreSupprimerThose bandaids are gorgeous! I must shop around for some here in the U.S. -- and congrats on a great choice for letter X. https://mollyscanopy.com/2021/04/x-bedroom-i-have-to-move-atozchallenge/
RépondreSupprimerBonjour Frédérique, c'est intéressant sommé idée !
RépondreSupprimerGood idea for X, but I have to say that seems like a lot of work for something disposable!
RépondreSupprimerBlack and White: X for Xanadu
Kids do go crazy over colorful bandages. We have to had a lot of them out for imaginary booboos every summer...
