  1. When the Barbarians were young, I used to buy those character bandaids for them. It's amazing the healing power of the Wiggles!

  2. The bandaids are cute. If I started making these, I'll be using one every day just to flaunt them. :D

  4. A cute band-aid makes all the difference! I used to have Disney Cars themed ones for my son. It usually made him feel better :-)

  5. Alors, qu'est-ce qu'on ne peut pas décorer avec du tissus? Je pense que la liste sera moins longue de cette façon, lol. ;^)

  6. I was thinking I have to tuck away that tip for future grandkids but I might even be able to entice my 20-somethings with the right fabric on a band-aid!

  7. The Green Cross has become the symbol for marijuana dispensaries here in California!

  8. The bandages we buy aren't nearly as interesting as these. Actually the ones we get are transparent. I do remember getting Disney character bandaids for our kids, though. That was fun.

Sorry for falling behind with my visits but in the coming days I plan to catch up. ;)

  9. Very cute, but I'm never going to go to the trouble! A green plus sign (not an X for me) is, like Anne says, a medical marijuana dispensary. I'm in Oregon.

  10. Funny - I remember on holiday in France as a child and the green crosses everywhere really stood out - at the time it was rare to see lit up signs on the streets around the UK.

  11. There used to be an advertisement on TV about a lady who gets a gash while cooking and uses a band aid .... I somehow was fascinated by the juicy tomatoes she washes under the sink to show that its wash proof... so much that I still remember it clearly :)

  15. In the United States, we can buy "character" bandaids with different cartoon characters - but these are so much nicer! A cute use of fabric scraps for those with children or grandchildren. They would make a fantastic gift.

  16. Cute. It's always funny to have the character ones on hand when an adult needs one.

  17. So many X-words, so many colorful patterns. I love the idea of making fancy band-aids for children. It makes the pain so much more bearable.

  18. I don't think they had these when my kids were young. They would encourage a child to wear one though :)
