The A to Z challenge is over!
The A to Z challenge is over!
Mon thème / My theme
For my third participation in the challenge, I stuck to the theme of my blog, namely quilting and textile art. This year, I wanted to focus on the art of upcycling, recycling and repurposing rather than throwing away. Our planet needs to be cared for, so I thought it was important to orient my theme towards these values.
Mon challenge 2021 / My 2021 Challenge
- For me, the most difficult letters were I, K, U and V. The V was problematic until the very last minute: vêtements (clothes in French)? vélo (bike in French)?? And then finally a bright idea: but yes of course! 😊
- Like last year with the artists, several items I couldn't talk about because they started with the most common letters. I had to make choices!
- I'm not very happy with a few letters that are sometimes a bit far-fetched, but rather happy with the effect of some items like the C, like the V precisely, which surprised, but also the H a bit original, the J for inspiration, the unexpected U, and even the Z for some amazing ideas!
- By the way, Z is for Zipper 🤐 if you need one for the Scavenger Hunt!

Belle semaine :-)
RépondreSupprimerCongrats on finishing the challenge! Liked your summary of which posts you enjoyed the most, and which ones were most visited. Thank you! I wish I could've come more!
RépondreSupprimerI liked the ideas you presented din each of your posts. All very creative.
RépondreSupprimerIt's always funny which letters are the hardest. Rarely are they the ones you'd expect.
RépondreSupprimerOften when I was visiting your posts and saw all the wonderful examples you were sharing, I hoped you had as much fun researching as we did viewing. It's curious how different letters turn out to be challenging for each of us. I like to imagine the alphabet is a bit of a trickster playing with everyone. :-)
RépondreSupprimerI enjoyed seeing all the wonderful upcycling projects that you highlighted. I'm a big fan of reusing things too! Weekends In Maine
RépondreSupprimerCongratulations and thank you for entertaining and inspiring us with your delightful posts! Once again, your theme was totally different from anything else I followed during the challenge.
RépondreSupprimerCongratulations on finishing the challenge! You took on a lot and did a magnificent job, as with the other years. Kudos!
RépondreSupprimerIt was a great theme - one so appropriate for our times- and it's obvious there are some very creative people out there. Yes, let's keep in touch. I didn't do a good job of that after last year's Challenge, I admit.
RépondreSupprimerCongratulations on completing the challenge. Half the fun of AtoZ for me is the challenge of deciding which words to use for the 26 letters. Once that decision is made, writing the article is the easy part.
RépondreSupprimerAnother great theme, with lots of inspiration! :) Thank you for participating, and thank you for the shout out!

Félicitations / congratulations on completing another A - Z! You always work twice as hard, writing en français and in English.
RépondreSupprimerI enjoyed your posts and gained so many ideas! (And I'm sharing them with my daughter.)
