Et voilà, 2023 s'achève, c'est le moment de l'année où on commence à rassembler toutes les traces des projets réalisés en un an, et peut-être même à se projeter en 2024.

And so, as 2023 draws to a close, it's the time of year when we begin to gather all the traces of projects completed in a year, and perhaps even look ahead to 2024.

Deux projets commencés en début d'année sont encore au stade de blocs, et avancent doucement, lentement, au fil des jours et pour cause : ce sont les 2 quilts météo 2023.

Two projects started at the beginning of the year are still at the block stage, making slow, slow progress as the days go by, and for good reason: they are the two 2023 temperature quilts.

Temps de couture en 2023 : en fonction de mon temps libre, mon objectif est de coudre au moins 15 minutes, trois fois par semaine. Souvent ces séances de couture se prolongent au-delà du quart d'heure, mais le plus important pour moi est de comptabiliser au moins 3 séances par semaine.

Je suis assez contente de mon score, malgré tout :

Sewing time in 2023: depending on my free time, my goal is to sew for at least 15 minutes, three times a week. Often these sewing sessions extend beyond a quarter of an hour, but the most important thing to me is to count at least 3 sessions per week.

I'm pretty happy with my score, though:

Voilà pour la rétrospective 2023, je participe au Best of de Cheryl.

So much for the 2023 retrospective, I'm participating in Cheryl's Best of.

⭐2024⭐

Sans parler de résolutions, qui sont plus difficiles à tenir, je préfère dire que ce sont des objectifs. Je participe ainsi à la Planning Party 2024.

Without talking about resolutions, which are more difficult to keep, I prefer to say that these are goals. I am participating in the Planning Party 2024.

- Offrir des BB quilts pour les bébés prématurés : cette action a été mise en place cette année, j'ai pris les contacts nécessaires à l'hôpital, et la toute première livraison de BB quilts est programmée pour mi-janvier ! J'ai hâte ! 💗 

L'objectif est bien sûr de continuer à rassembler et à réaliser des BB quilts pour des livraisons régulières au service néonat.

- Giving Baby Quilts for premature babies: I've made the necessary contacts at the hospital, and the very first delivery of Baby Quilts is scheduled for mid-January! I can't wait! 💗 

The goal, of course, is to continue collecting and making Baby Quilts for regular deliveries to the neonatal department.

- Persévérer dans mes 3 séances de couture par semaine. En 2023 j'ai réussi à tenir cet objectif 35 semaines sur 52 : c'est 4 semaines de plus qu'en 2022 ! 🎯

- Persevere with my 3 sewing sessions a week. In 2023 I managed to keep this goal 35 weeks out of 52: that's 4 weeks more than in 2022! 🎯

- Offrir un espace de partage, de motivation à tous les quilteurs, pour s'encourager, et s'inspirer mutuellement. C'est le but de ma link party, qui continuera en 2024 tous les samedis. 📌

- To provide a space for all quilters to share, motivate, encourage and inspire each other. This is the goal of my link party, which will continue in 2024 every Saturday. 📌
