A challenge for being together, whatever the situation, and all sewing the same color.
Le Challenge a débuté mercredi.
Wednesday was the beginning of the Challenge proposed by France Patchwork.
It’s a challenge #ensemblemalgretout shared on Facebook, and Instagram, to occupy our free time and our mind. Every week, every Wednesday until the end of confinement, a color will be given and each one will interpret it in his own way, according to his desires.

The color for this Wednesday is green. Because I have to work at home, I don't have plenty of time to sew, so instead of a block, I made... a pincushion!
And of course, at the beginning was foundation paper piecing method ;) A green Flying Geese bloc, made with scraps from Sleeping Fox quilt.
Ensemble malgré tout, 4'' x 4'' (10 x 10 cm)

cute little pincushion and flying geese
Prends soin. ;^)
RépondreSupprimerLove your sweet little pincushion! Stay safe and healthy! :)
RépondreSupprimerCute pincushion! Those are some tiny flying geese!
RépondreSupprimerLove your pin cushion! Such pretty greens you have used. The grey background makes them sing.
RépondreSupprimertrès sympa ton pique épingle
RépondreSupprimerThose tiny green triangles are just adorable! Glad that you were able to find some sewing time.
RépondreSupprimerAdorable! Thanks for sharing with Oh Scrap!
RépondreSupprimerPretty pin cushion! I am also not getting much extra sewing time due to work from home, though I've been doing some sewing with my son to keep him occupied. I like the focusing on one color idea!
RépondreSupprimerThat's a great idea for a challenge. I like your green.
Your pin cushion is darling -- but wasn't that even more work than just leaving it as a block? "Ensemble malgre tout" is a fabulous attitude; I love this challenge and the spirit behind it.
RépondreSupprimerYes you are right Rebecca, more work ;) But I plan to make gifts for the After, and pincushions sound a good gift idea. At least I know some people who will enjoy them. Feel free to join us for the Challenge, open to everybody.
SupprimerTake care and stay healthy.
It's an adorable little pin cushion! Gotta love geese!!
RépondreSupprimerWhat a great way to deal with the situation....fun to see the translation for "flying geese." And "malgre de tout" would be a good name for a quilt made during this week....er, this month. Stay healthy!
RépondreSupprimerWhat a great challenge in a trying time for everyone. I love your tiny flying geese and pincushion.
RépondreSupprimerCute pincushion, and a great way to keep people occupied and "working together" while still confined. :o)
RépondreSupprimerHi Frederique! Your flying geese look so darn perfect, and they meet the green challenge quite nicely. Thank you for linking up today. Stay safe and healthy. Hopefully this will soon be over. ~smile~ Roseanne
RépondreSupprimerFabulous pincushion. I love the tiny geese!
RépondreSupprimerThe challenge is a great idea!
RépondreSupprimerI like making pincushions because they're a fast and satisfying finish. I love how you used the green in yours. The challenge is a great idea and sounds like a lot of fun. Thanks for sharing your project on MCM!
RépondreSupprimerSo cute, and so tiny!
RépondreSupprimerThis another great Quarantine Quilt Along idea! Love your tiny geese!
RépondreSupprimerCute project... such small flying geese! And a good idea to fill in the time with a challenge. Thanks for linking up to the Chameleon's colour and inspiration party.
RépondreSupprimerThat is perfect interpretation
RépondreSupprimerThis pin cushion is gorgeous! You certainly rose to the challenge! Thanks for sharing on Wednesday Wait Loss.
