70 273 : on a réussi / We did it

Souvenez-vous, c'était il y a 3 ans, le projet 70 273 :
Remember, it was 3 years ago, the 70,273 project:

A project in honor of 70,273 physically and mentally disabled people – men, women, teens, boys, and girls – murdered by the Nazis, between January 1940 and August 1941 (before the Holocaust began).
Jeanne Hewell-Chambers wanted to make an exhibition gathering 70,273 quilt blocks, featuring two red X the Nazi doctors placed at the bottom of the victim forms.
And this February 14th, three years after the project started, Katell announced not 70,273 blocks, but 72,055 achieved!
And according to Annie, at least 10,000 people of 143 different nationalities participated in this project.
I’m proud to be a part of it.

A lot of quilts were featured in the Facebook groups, one in English, another in French, and Jeanne's website.
Here are some of them:

Red X blocks continue to be sewn all over the world, and exhibitions are organized. And they will be soon displayed all together.
