J'ai tout un tas de petits blocs accrochés à mon mur, de quoi faire un bébé quilt. Ils sont prêts à être assemblés les uns aux autres, et j'avance doucement au gré des séances de 15 minutes de couture. C'est un projet facile, sans réflexion, et tout est prêt. Il suffit de prendre les blocs tels qu'ils sont disposés, s'assoir devant la machine, coudre et repasser la couture. C'est ma conception de la couture zen 😊

I have a bunch of little blocks hanging on my design wall, enough to make a baby quilt. They're ready to be pieced together, and I'm slowly working my way through the 15-minute sewing sessions. It's an easy, no-brainer project, and everything is ready to go. Just take the blocks as they are laid out, sit in front of the machine, sew and iron the seam. This is my idea of Zen quilting 😊

Maintenant les stats de la semaine :

🎯 Mon objectif est de passer au moins 3 soirs de la semaine dans mon atelier, pour au moins 15 minutes de couture à chaque fois.

🠞 Pendant cette période du samedi 12 au vendredi 18 février, j'ai atteint mon objectif : 4 séances de couture ! Courtes à chaque fois, parce que la semaine a été chargée (bien que je sois en vacances !), mais j'ai bien avancé ! Enfin quand je dis courte, c'est plus de l'ordre de la demie heure que du quart d'heure, donc c'est plutôt pas mal.

Now the stats for the week:

🎯 My goal is to spend at least 3 evenings of the week in my studio, for at least 15 minutes of sewing each time.

🠞 During this period from Saturday, February 12 to Friday, February 18, I reached my goal: 4 sewing sessions! Short each time, because it's been a busy week (even though I'm on vacation!), but I made good progress! Well, when I say short, it's more like half an hour than 15 minutes, so that's pretty good.

J'adore les vacances ! 😄

Mes matchs au championnat de France se sont bien passés 🎯, je vais pouvoir souffler un peu et me reposer. Après un séjour de 3 jours à Besançon, nous voilà rentrés à la maison.

My games at the French championship went well 🎯, I will be able to take a rest. After a 3 days stay in Besançon, we are back home.

Et maintenant, couture ! Il reste 13 jours avant mon jour pour le challenge Dépoussière un livre de patch, et il y a encore un peu de travail avant d'achever complètement mon projet.

Par contre celles qui participent avec moi ont déjà bien avancé et certaines ont même carrément terminé ! Toutes les réalisations finales seront regroupées et montrées ici le 3 mars, jour de la grande révélation !! Voici un aperçu du plus vieux magazine utilisé, pour le moment : septembre 1993

 

And now, sewing! There are 13 days left until my day for the Dust off a Patch Book challenge, and there is still a little work to do before I completely finish my project.

However, the ladies who are participating with me have already made good progress and some of them have even finished! All the final projects will be gathered and shown here on March 3rd, the day of the big reveal!! Here is an overview of the oldest magazine used, for the moment: September 1993
