MERCI. Très sincèrement, un grand merci à vous toutes qui vous êtes souciées pour nous. Ma belle-maman a eu des épisodes d'aphasie (troubles de la parole) avec désorientation, et incohérence soudaines. Très flippant. Les urgences ont d'abord soupçonné un début d'AVC, puis à force d'examens divers, variés et poussés, le diagnostic a pu être posé, confirmé par une semaine d'hôspitalisation en soins intensifs : il s'agit d'une épilepsie partielle.

On ne connaît pas vraiment la cause, ce qui a déclenché ça, mais un traitement peut commencer à être administré, et c'est plutôt rassurant. Ouf !

THANK YOU. Very sincerely, a big thank you to all of you who cared for us. My mom-in-law had episodes of aphasia (speech problems) with sudden disorientation and incoherence. Very scary. The emergency room first suspected the beginning of a CVA, then, after many different and extensive examinations, the diagnosis was made, confirmed by a week of hospitalization in intensive care: it is a partial epilepsy.

We don't really know the cause, what triggered it, but a treatment can start to be administered, and that's rather reassuring. Phew!

La semaine dernière je vous ai montré le tapis de coupe super grand nouvellement acquis. J'avais acheté des tissus aussi ! Les voilà, d'abord les coupons, puis les métrages :

Last week I showed you the newly acquired super large cutting mat. I had bought some fabrics too! Here they are, precuts first, then the yardage:

J'aime beaucoup ceux-là, du coup j'ai pris presque toute la gamme !

I really like these, so I got almost the whole collection!

Plus un autre vert bien vif, qui manque cruellement (si si) dans mon stock de tissus 😄

Plus another bright green one, which is sorely lacking (yes it is) in my stash 😄

Ces deux-là sont les premiers que j'ai vus : un joli blanc ton-sur-ton, et un imprimé sympa !😜 C'est tout ce que j'ai à montrer cette semaine encore, j'espère que de votre côté vous avez pu emmener quelques petites choses (ou grosses) dans vos valises en vacances pour coudre et avancer les en-cours !

These two are the first ones I saw in the fabric shop: a pretty tone-on-tone white, and a cool print! 😜 That's all I have to show this week again, I hope you were able to pack a few things (or big ones) in your suitcases on vacation to sew and move forward with the work in progress!
