Link party: Patchwork & Quilts #155 📌

Bonjour, et bienvenue ici !
Hi, welcome here!

⭐⭐👩⭐⭐

This week, a small touch on my Vahine quilt:

added a little border at the top and bottom, so the tips of the turbans and dresses of the ladies wouldn't be drowned out by the binding. There is plenty of room on the sides.
The top is finished, now I'm thinking about quilting.

⭐⭐🌡⭐⭐

Update on the temperature quilts: the month of March has just joined those of January and February:

The strips on the left are the readings taken in the French Alps. The strips on the right are in the South of France, Montpellier.
I checked again the readings, and indeed there is no mistake: February (2nd vertical strip on the left) was particularly sunny in the French Alps (the central chevron is almost every day yellow, only one day overcast, and one day of snow). It was less sunny in the South 😏

⭐⭐🎯⭐⭐

Numbers for the week:
🎯 My goal is to sew for at least 15 minutes, three times a week
I follow Kate's guideline, who's hosting "Stitching Stuff", but I adapt it to my work pace and leisure time. Thank you Kate for the motivation, once I sit in front of my machine those 15 minutes often extend, and sometimes into hours!

🠞 This week #20, from Saturday, May 13th to Friday, May 19th, I reached my goal: 3 sessions of sewing 😊

  3. The mini border you added to the top and bottom of the quilt, mimicking the sashing, looks as though it was always planned. Excellent solution.

  12. Hi Frederique. Your Vahine quilt is perfect with that little border. It would have been a shame to lose the tips when you put the binding on. Have fun quilting it. Love your temperature blocks. Thank you for hosting such a fun linky party. 😉
