A l'occasion d'une balade dans un magasin de tissus, j'ai trouvé ces unis pour un futur projet d'appliqué qui commence à prendre forme sur papier.
Pour que les couleurs soient au plus près de ce qu'elles sont en vrai, je n'ai trouvé que ce drap de lit rose pour les photographier. Le premier tissu à droite est vert olive, le second est gris-vert. J'en ai acheté 50 cm de chaque (en 145 cm de large), et 1,50 m de blanc.

Le fond rose n'en fait pas partie !
While visiting a fabric store, I found these solid-color fabrics for a future appliquéd project that is starting to take shape on paper.
The pink background isn't part of it!
Ils viendront compléter une commande d'autres tissus qui m'attendent chez une amie qui a récupéré le colis en notre absence. Hâte de les voir !
To make the colors look as close as possible to how they really are, I could only find this pink bedsheet to take pictures of them on. The first one on the right is olive green; the second is gray-green. I bought half a yard of each (57'' wide) and 1.5 yards of white.
They'll be added to an order of other fabrics that are waiting for me at a friend's house. She picked up the package while we were away. I can't wait to see them!

No sewing again this week, but time spent with family. After the mountains, the sea air is refreshing, too 😉We watched the partial eclipse from this beach, it was magnificent! There were lots of people on the beach and around it, and the atmosphere was great! Well, there will be another partial eclipse visible from France in 2027, and then the next one won't be until 2081... 😕

Stats de la semaine écoulée, et projection pour la suivante :
🎯 Je garde le même objectif cette année : faire de la couture deux jours par semaine, au moins 15 minutes à chaque fois. Je participe ainsi à "Stitching Stuff", organisé par Kate. C’est un rythme qui me semble raisonnable et qui s’adapte bien à mon travail, aux entraînements sportifs et aux imprévus du quotidien.
Si j'en ai l'occasion, je ferais une liste de priorités à réaliser d'ici la semaine prochaine, et participer ainsi à "To Do Tuesday" organisé par Carol.
🚩⏩ Cette semaine j'ai cousu ⓪ jour.
Pas de couture encore cette semaine, mais du temps passé avec la famille. Après les montagnes, l'air de la mer est frais aussi 😉
C'est depuis cette plage qu'on a regardé l'éclipse partielle, magnifique ! Du monde sur la plage et autour, bonne ambiance ! Bon il y en aura encore une partielle visible depuis la France en 2027 et ensuite ce sera 2081... 😕

📍100e BB Quilt : préparer les prochains blocs, je pense à un voilier, un oiseau et peut-être refaire un papillon 😁
📍Nouveau projet pour une "valise" France Patchwork : réfléchir à un petit quilt (30 x 40 cm) sur le thème des poissons
📍Passer du temps en famille !
Past week's numbers and projections for the coming week:
🎯 I'm sticking with the same goal this year: sewing two days a week, for at least 15 minutes each time. I'm taking part in "Stitching Stuff" organized by Kate. It's a pace that seems reasonable to me and fits in well with my work, sports training, and the unexpected events of everyday life.
If I get the chance, I’ll make a list of priorities to tackle by next week, and that way take part in "To Do Tuesday" organized by Carol. 🚩⏩ This week I sewed ⓪ day.
