En passant en ville, je me suis bien évidemment arrêtée dans les 2 merceries. Dans la première j'ai trouvé le tissu à fleurs et le vichy, dans la seconde ce jaune paille à points gris. Ou marron. Les points sont tellement petits que je ne sais pas exactement quelle est leur couleur, mais en tout cas c'est cet effet d'ensemble qui me semble aller avec ce que j'ai en tête pour le quilt pour François.

Pour cause d'épaule au repos, je n'ai pas encore coupé les bandes pour en faire des carrés bicolores.
Since my shoulder is resting, I haven't cut the strips into HST yet.

Mais les bandes sont cousues ! Et les attaches du tablier aussi, il ne reste plus qu'à les retourner :
But the strips are sewn together! And the apron ties are sewn too, all that is left is to turn them right side out:
Passing through town, I couldn't help but stop at both fabric stores. In the first one, I found the floral fabric and the gingham, in the second this pale yellow fabric with gray dots. Or maybe brown ones. The dots are so tiny that I can't tell exactly what color they are, but in any case, it's the overall look that seems to fit what I have in mind for François's quilt.
The injection in my right shoulder still hasn't had any effect, and I'm still using that arm with caution. But next week, I'll have to cut the HST from the strips...

🎯 Je garde le même objectif cette année : faire de la couture deux jours par semaine, au moins 15 minutes à chaque fois. Je participe ainsi à "Stitching Stuff", organisé par Kate. C’est un rythme qui me semble raisonnable et qui s’adapte bien à mon travail, aux entraînements sportifs et aux imprévus du quotidien.
Si j'en ai l'occasion, je ferais une liste de priorités à réaliser d'ici la semaine prochaine, et participer ainsi à "To Do Tuesday" organisé par Carol.

L'infiltration à l'épaule droite n'a toujours pas montré ses bienfaits et je continue à utiliser avec précaution ce bras. Mais la semaine prochaine, il faudra que je coupe les carrés dans les bandes...

🎯 I'm sticking with the same goal this year: sewing two days a week, for at least 15 minutes each time. I'm taking part in "Stitching Stuff" organized by Kate. It's a pace that seems reasonable to me and fits in well with my work, sports training, and the unexpected events of everyday life.
If I get the chance, I’ll make a list of priorities to tackle by next week, and that way take part in "To Do Tuesday" organized by Carol. 🚩⏩ This week I sewed ② days
