Liste / To-Do Tuesday #4 📜

La liste de la semaine !
The week's list!

The To-Do list of the week: an update on the tasks accomplished, and those planned.
I'm going to sub-categorize my list again (oh boy, it sounds a bit psycho!). After last week's addition of a "maybe" based on time, here's a new category: the unexpected. Always leave room for the unexpected!

Let's see what I can check from my last week's to-do list:

Faire 2 autres blocs pour le QAL Courbes
✔ oui, faits ! Deux nouveaux blocs avec plein de courbes !
Make 2 more blocks for the QAL Curves
✔ yes, done! Two new blocks, with plenty of curves!

Prepare the backing for Huahine
✔ done. I'm slowly preparing the quilting, but it will be a project for a longer term, a monthly goal rather than a weekly I think.

If I have more time: cut fabrics to the next two blocks to make more progress with the Curves QAL
✖ nope, I didn't have more time, because I succumbed to a "squirrel"! If you want to know what a squirrel is in the quilting world, I explain it here 🐶

To-do list for January 26-February 1st:
  • To-do #1
Continue the QAL Curves progress, and make 2 blocks 🍁
  • To-do #2
If I have more time: cut fabrics to the next two blocks for the QAL Curves ✂️
  • To-do #3
Eventually: leave room for an unexpected project!

📃💬📃

Well, so it's a very, very short list, with only one real goal... I think I'm going to make it!
I don't write too many items on the list, because this week is going to be quite busy at work, and even if the curfew makes me come home at 6pm, there are often a few files to finish at home...

You've had a great week, and I love that little flamingo piece! I'm glad you leave room for the unexpected - sometimes those projects are the best!
My list has been short circuited this week and most of my attention has been diverted... to housekeeping and a new toy.... A Cricut cutting machine. Just learning is daunting. But I have cut a few things... none of them keepers or even worth sharing... and I haven't turned on a sewing machine in a week!!! OOPs.

Hi Frederique! Those squirrels!! Your little flamingo piece is so cute and definitely a worthy distraction. You have a curfew that requires you to be home by 6 pm? I'm sorry that you have to bring work home to cut into your sewing time . . . but I succumb to that myself. Good luck with this week's list. I suspect you will be very successful which is just great in my book. Thanks for linking up. ~smile~ Roseanne

I agree that the flamingo piece was worth the distraction. It is so beautiful! I wish you well with your goals.

Good luck on your list, Frederique! That flamingo mug rug is so cute!
I love the idea of leaving room for the unexpected! We absolutely should! Your flamingo mug rug is cute - fun squirrel!

Yeah, some weeks are just going to be busy, so making a long list of things to do is pointless. Hope you complete what you do have time for.

All your to-do projects look so bright and happy. The flamingo reflections are very whimsical. I would hang this one on a wall rather than set a coffee mug on it. Your fabric choices make me think of warm places on this cold and snowy day in my quilty corner of the world. Thanks for linking up and adding color to my day ... :) Pat

Glad to see you are staying busy even if you get a little side tracked from your TO-Do list. Thank you for linking up to Put your foot down :)
