Les deux dernières étoiles sont en place, en haut et en bas. 

Elles ferment le cercle autour de l'hexagone en médaillon :

The last two stars are sewn, at the top and bottom.

They close the circle around the hexie medallion:

Une dernière bordure pour terminer l'ensemble aux dimensions requises pour un BB Quilt (70 cm x 70 cm), et voilà un top prêt à être quilté !

One last border to finish off the quilt to the required dimensions for a Baby Quilt (27.5'' x 27.5''), and voilà, a quilt top ready to be quilted!

Le motif central de noeud est le point de départ de ce petit quilt, puis j'ai imaginé un cercle d'étoiles pour transformer l'hexagone en carré. Ce quilt, destiné à être offert à l'unité néonat de l'hôpital de Montpellier, me fait penser à un réseau de liens, des interconnexions entre un bébé, sa famille, l'hôpital et toutes les personnes qui l'entourent pour lui donner toutes ses chances de bien démarrer sa vie.

Oui, voilà le nom de ce BB Quilt : Connexion.

The central knot motif is the starting point for this small quilt, then I imagined a circle of stars to turn the hexagon into a square. This quilt, which will be donated to the neonatal unit at Montpellier Hospital, reminds me of a network of connections, interlinks between a baby, its family, the hospital, and all the people who are there to give him or her the best possible start in life.
Yes, that's the name of this Baby Quilt: Connection.

Suite de ma veille des quilt along et autres blocs du mois proposés en ligne. Cette semaine j'en ai repéré un, l'Evergreen Christmas de Lisa Bongean qui commencera le 3 octobre. Un quilt mystère qui sent bon les fêtes de fin d'année !

Continuing my search for quilt-alongs and other blocks of the month available online, this week I spotted one called Evergreen Christmas by Lisa Bongean, which starts on October 3. It's a mystery quilt that feels just right for the holiday season!

Stats de la semaine dernière :

🎯 J'ai modifié mon objectif cette année : je me fixe deux jours de couture par semaine, pendant au moins 15 minutes, et je participe à "Stitching Stuff", organisé par Kate. C'est moins ambitieux que les 3 jours de l'an passé, mais c'est bien plus raisonnable et surtout réaliste. Toute journée supplémentaire sera du bonus !

🠞🠞 Cette semaine j'ai cousu ② jours. 

Les séances de kiné s'intensifient, j'en suis à 3 par semaine. Dès lundi, on passe à 4 séances ! C'est toujours douloureux mais le progrès est bien là 💪. Par contre ça me prend presque tout mon temps libre en semaine 😵

J'ai quand même avancé sur la couture des bandes du ciel, il y a 6 nouvelles bandes en bas !

Last week's numbers:

🎯 I've modified my goal this year: I'm setting myself two days of sewing a week, for at least 15 minutes, and I'm taking part in "Stitching Stuff", organized by Kate. It's not as ambitious as last year's 3 days, but it's much more reasonable and, above all, realistic. Any extra day will be a bonus!

🠞🠞 This week I sewed ② days. 

The physical therapy sessions are intensifying; I'm now at three per week. Starting Monday, we're moving up to four sessions! It's still painful, but the progress is definitely there 💪. On the other hand, it takes up almost all of my free time during the week 😵
I've still made progress on sewing the sky strips; there are six new strips at the bottom!
