Noël en juillet / Christmas in July

C'est Noël en juillet !
It’s Christmas in July season!

Celebrating Christmas in July is a great occasion to have a holiday themed party with friends and family, or it can be a simple reminder, 6 months away, to start thinking about this year’s holiday season.

I’ve gathered together some of my favorite holiday themed projects to get you inspired to start thinking about the winter holidays:

Here is my Christmas in July project, never too early to start! ;)

I love all those tree ideas! The one with the red background is wonderful! I'm going to have to go take a look at those.

Yup, now's the time to start if one is handcrafting gifts. This is what I tell myself every year. And every year, I ignore it until it's November...

Oh, my goodness!! What a welcome, cooling post to see right now! I just finished working for three hours in the hot, HOT sun stacking the firewood from the 8 dead trees we had to cut down - - and seeing these Christmas images literally cooled my body down. :)

I’ve long admired those trees! It will make a lovely Christmas quilt. Even with all the prompting by quilters, I never work on Christmas until it’s almost too late,
Super cute holiday projects!!
The quilt fabrics are pouring in at the quilt shop right now, so I'm enjoying seeing all these Christmas projects on the net. Great Christmas tree forest in the works!
It's so stinking hot right now, I could use a little Christmas! Thanks for linking up to What I Made Monday.

I love your Christmas tree blocks! Our guild is doing a Christmas In July theme for this Saturday's Sit-and-Sew gathering. We'll be working on holiday themed charity outreach quilts so that we'll have them completed in time to donate in December to area hospitals. These are great ideas that you've shared. Happy stitching!
