Bonjour, et bienvenue ici ! Hello, and welcome! ⭐⭐👶⭐⭐ Ma petite pile de 4 quilts, prêts à être quiltés !  Repassés, bâtis, ils attendent sagement bien à plat. My little pile of 4 quilts, ready to be quilted!  Pressed and basted, they're lying flat, waiting their turn. Il y a les 3 BB quilts faits ces dernières semaines, Floralies , Focus et Baby Bear , et sur le dessus vous aurez reconnu Vahine ! I looove vacations 😊 Voici Baby Bear, un petit nounours de 70 cm x 70 cm. Ses pattes ne ressortent pas du tout sur le fond blanc cassé... il va falloir ruser au quilting ! Here's Baby Bear, a little teddy bear measuring 27'' x 27''. His paws don't stand out at all on the off-white background... Le mini quilt est fini !  The small quilt is finished! ⭐⭐⬜⭐⭐ Il s'appelle Carrés hongrois, du nom de ce bloc plié, au centre rabattu. Je vous raconte ici toute sa conception, tuto pour les carrés inclus ! It's named Hungarian Squares, after the folded block with the cathedral-window-like center. I'll tell you all about its design here, including a tutorial for the squares! ⭐⭐⬛⭐⭐ Ce bloc avait fait l'objet d'une animation France Patchwork en 2021, du temps où j'étais déléguée de la Haute-Marne. La Journée de l'Amitié s'était alors déroulée en distanciel, pandémie oblige. J'avais par la suite rédigé un tuto , et c'est un des articles de mon blog les plus lus ! 😊 This block was the subject of a France Patchwork event in 2021, when I was the delegate for the Haute-Marne department. Cette semaine a été largement dédiée à la couture, et 2 tops de BB quilts sont terminés ! 💪 Yes, you read the title of this post right: 2 tops! This week has been largely dedicated to sewing, and I have now two baby quilt flimsies!  💪 BB quilt Floralies BB quilt Focus Tous les deux sont faits avec la même collection de tissus, Sunshine Inn de Liza Flower. C'est un ensemble de fat quarters qui m'avait été offert par Jody de Gingerberry Quilts (je les présentais dans cet article ). Pour Floralies (modèle Labyrinthe  de Debbie Maddy), ce sont les fleurs un peu vintage, et pour Focus (modèle Nilsa  de Preeti de Sew Preeti Quilts ), tous les tissus sont de cette collection, sauf le blanc. J'adore ce thème Polaroïd ! Both are made with the same fabric collection, Sunshine Inn by Liza Flower. This is a set of fat quarters given to me by Jody of Gingerberry Quilts

Voici le premier des deux quilts météo 🌞 Here is the first of two temperature quilts  🌞 ⭐⭐☔⭐⭐ Ce quilt illustre les températures et la météo de toute une année - 2023 -, dans les Alpes savoyardes, vers 1200 m d'altitude 🌄 This quilt records the temperatures and weather of an entire year - 2023 -, in the French Alps, at an altitude of around 1,200 meters  🌄 Le projet a bien sûr commencé en janvier, mes parents ont relevé chaque jour les températures et la météo chez eux, reporté ces données dans un tableau qu'ils m'ont envoyé chaque fin de semaine. De mon côté j'ai compilé tout cela dans mon tableau avec les couleurs de tissus attribuées à chaque fourchette de températures.
