Journée France Patchwork / Quilt Meeting

Le temps passe trop vite...
Time is flying so quickly...

I didn’t even had time to tell you about our last November’s day. We worked on stained glass appliqué technique, and a Christmas inspired pattern.

It was a lively and cheerful assembly that got to work, following the instructions given for the day.

The black bias was provided, as well as the orange fabric for the flame. A pretty silky and velvety fabric, perfect for a flame, but slippery and a bit complicated to sew!

Pretty quilts were featured in a mini-show:

Our next meeting will be in March... See you soon!

Great quilts. Slippery fabric is the worst to work with.

Love the stained glass candle. I made a stained glass lighthouse wall hanging many years ago. I remember it was fun, but never tried it again. There were some interesting quilts in your little show, something for everyone!
