Liste 15 / To-Do Tuesday 📜

I'm checking in with Chris at Chrisknits to share my to-do list for the week.

Well, as much as last week I stayed focused on my list, this week I was not so focused! An unexpected project came into my sewing room 😏

La to-do liste de la semaine dernière :
The last week's to-do list:

Check my notes and photos of the month to write my monthly gratitude post
✔ it's done, I posted here 8 reasons to be grateful

Do more test blocks for the Positivity  QAL
✔ I made another one, but I wonder if the grey background is not too dark...

Eventually: leave room for an unexpected project (you never know...)
✔ well yes, it was worth it to leave some room! As I find the grey fabric of my Positivity blocks too dark, I made other blocks on white background. Not the "Plus" ones, but I like them!

Yes! always - to leaving room for the unexpected. They are often more meaningful and/or soul-satisfying and/or enjoyable than the regular scheduled projects. Wishing you lots of those.

Great decision leaving room for an unexpected project! I also made test with Positivity blocks using gray for the background and I am also not sure I like them, Bult I love those little birds fabric you use for the plus. Have a happy stitching week.
I have not made the positivity blocks as I had too much going already but I do like them

I really like the Positivity block with the dark grey background, but of course, I'm using a fairly dark grey background for my Positivity blocks. The bird fabric is awesome!
I too like the dark gray but I think a slightly lighter one would also look good--I think it's just all what look you're personally after. Love the little birds. I checked out your other post and saw you are enjoying strawberries as well. Fraises, I should say. (I have this plan to label everything in my garden in French so I can learn all the veggies--of course, I thought of it after I'd planted almost everything this year but that's me: my best thoughts are always after-thoughts!)
I like your blocks that came up unexpectedly! It's always fun to try something new!

Cute birds for you Positivity blocks! Maybe a mix of dark and light would be doable!

That gray is dark, but depending on the finished project, that might be a good thing? (I figure there's always a good time for any color combination.)

Hi,
I've always got something I've seen and want to make...so it's best to

Hi Frederique! I am SO thrilled that you are joining in on the Positivity QAL. Gosh, your test block is cute. I love the plus fabric - those little birdies look so sweet. I am looking forward to seeing what layout you choose and the winning block! ~smile~ Roseanne
P.S. I agree with Liz - I kind of like the dark gray, but you're in charge and get to pick!
