Un rocher est en train de se poser sur mon mur... Il s'agit bien sûr du décor du quilt en cours de construction ! C'est une deuxième grande pièce qui sera ensuite appliquée sur le fond. Cette fois-ci j'essaie de bien réfléchir à l'ordre des tissus à thermocoller 😊
A rock is being placed on my design wall... It’s, of course, part of the design for the quilt I’m working on! This is a second large piece that will later be appliquéd onto the background. This time, I’m trying to carefully plan the order of the fabrics to be fused 😊

Merci pour vos suggestions à propos de la pièce très fine, je ferais probablement un point zigzag le plus invisible possible et assez large pour prendre toute la largeur de la pièce. Pour l'instant le gros champignon est encore épinglé au mur.
Thanks for your suggestions about the very thin piece; I’ll probably use a zigzag stitch that’s as invisible as possible and wide enough to cover the entire width of the piece. For now, the big mushroom is still pinned to the design wall.

Continuing my tracking of quilt-alongs and other blocks of the month available online in 2026. Last week, I found just one that I hadn’t already mentioned: Cole Whitaker has just finished a QAL and is introducing the next one, Frog. I love it!

🎯 Je garde le même objectif cette année : faire de la couture deux jours par semaine, au moins 15 minutes à chaque fois. Je participe ainsi à "Stitching Stuff", organisé par Kate.
C’est un rythme qui me semble raisonnable et qui s’adapte bien à mon travail, aux entraînements sportifs et aux imprévus du quotidien. Toute journée supplémentaire sera du bonus !

Ce rocher n'a pas beaucoup de pièces mais je les ai redessinées plusieurs fois pour qu'elles ne soient ni trop fines ni trop étroites 😎
Past week's numbers:
🎯 I'm sticking with the same goal this year: sewing two days a week, for at least 15 minutes each time. I'm taking part in "Stitching Stuff" organized by Kate. It's a pace that seems reasonable to me and fits in well with my work, sports training, and the unexpected events of everyday life. Any extra days will be a bonus!
