For this month, Angela picked a color: pink!

So let's see la vie en rose! And here is a Rainbow Scrap Challenge birdhouse block, pink of course:

A small variation for this one, two pieces of the roof are the same fabric (it is a mistake originally!).
I don't have a lot of pink in my stash. The two pales are scraps from the Geisha quilt: the solid pink is from the central panel, and the one with the floral design was used to make origami flowers
The pink fuchsia is a piece of fabric a friend in the Marquesas Islands (French Polynesia) gave me.

Quand il me prend dans ses bras
Il me parle tout bas
Je vois la vie en rose...

    1. Thank you Joy!
This birdhouse was designed by Judith at http://judith-justjude.blogspot.fr for herself (no pattern available) and she ask me not to writting up a pattern. By the way, it is just a log cabin with pentagon piece for the center.
I made my own wonky version, inspired by this pattern and a book (post: https://quiltingpatch.blogspot.fr/2018/01/rainbow-quilt-more-scraps.html), I guess I can send it to you for personnal use.
Tell me if you want to.

  9. I love your birdhouses - they always make me smile! Will you be combining them with the bird blocks, or are they going to be two different quilts?
