Travail du week-end : Week-end sewing: 2 Etoiles et 1 Baratte avec les tissus coupés hier Two Sawtooth Stars and one Churn Dash block, with fabric patches cut yesterday Il ne reste plus que 2 blocs à faire pour terminer ce top, avant le 29 avril et diffusion sur Instagram ! Pour Friday Night Sew In , j'ai préparé les tissus pour les derniers blocs du QAL Dashing. For Friday Night Sew In , I prepared my fabrics for the last blocks of the French QAL, Dashing. Les bandes de papier calque pour les bordures de Véga (le quilt mystère 2010) sont tracées, prêtes pour la couture. Strips of paper tracing for the foundation paper pieced borders of Véga (Quilt mystere 2010), are drawn, ready for the sewing. It's my first time at FNSI, thanks to Wendy for hosting it! Ce week-end, j'ai terminé les étoiles rouges du Dashing : 3 blocs Etoile et 2 Barattes This week-end, I finished red blocks for the Dashing quilt: 3 Sawtooth Star blocks and 2 Churn Darn Une autre rangée ! Je n'ai pas encore tout mélangé, mais je garde l'idée en tête ;-) Another row! I didn't mixed the blocks yet, but I keep the idea in my mind ;) Tissu village Country fabric 2 teintes de rouges (oui, le centre est plus clair !) 2 shade of red (yes, the center is lighter!) Un tissu arabesque Arabesque fabric Voilà pour ces blocs rouges, les prochaines seront en noir et gris. Ok for these red blocks, the next ones will be black and grey. Jaune or, c'est la couleur du mois pour le Rainbow Scrap Challenge. The Rainbow Scrap Challenge color of the month is gold yellow.  Pour les blocs d'avril, j'ai trié mes chutes de tissus jaunes. Tiens, ce n'est pas une couleur pour laquelle j'ai beaucoup de choix. For April's blocks, I sort out my yellow scraps. Looks like it's not a favorite color! Et aujourd'hui j'ai fait un bloc nichoir jaune : And today, I made a yellow birdhouse: Pour le prochain je vais tester une autre combinaison de couleurs, mais toujours jaune et or. Ce mois-ci, je termine les bordures de Véga ! My goal for April is to complete Véga with borders J'avance aussi dans le Rainbow scrap Challenge 2018 , 3 blocs. La couleur du mois est jaune-or, I plan to sew more blocks for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge , three yellow-gold blocks, et dans le QAL #Dashingcorianderquilts , 5 blocs rouge-marron. and for #Dashingcorianderquilts QAL, five red-brown blocks. Mon objectif pour le mois de mars est atteint ! I did it! My goal for March is achieved! Véga Je voulais reprendre Véga et réfléchir aux bordures, et éventuellement en coudre une. I planned to bring out Véga, and design and audition borders. Even sew one border. La 1ère bordure est faite, par contre il me manque du tissu pour la 2nde. Mais elle est dessinée, et prête à être cousue. The 1st border is made, on the other hand I miss some fabric for the 2nd one. But it's drawn, and ready to be sewn.
