Coudre plusieurs blocs identiques, ce n'est pas ce que je préfère dans le patchwork. Mais parfois il faut le faire ! I don't really like sewing a lot of identical blocks, but now I have to. Je veux faire un bloc carré, avec 2 triangles. Simple, me direz-vous... Oui, mais en coudre 32, là ça devient un peu pénible ! I want to sew a square block, with two triangles. Easy, you might say... Yes, but sewing 32 of them, it's becoming a little bit painful for me! Donc, j'ai cherché, et trouvé LA solution ! ( ici , en anglais) So, I searched and found THE solution! ( here ) Tout simple : 2 carrés sont cousus ensemble endroit contre endroit en double diagonale, puis coupés entre ces 2 coutures. On obtient ainsi 2 carrés faits de 2 triangles ! Easy: two squares are sewn together twice diagonally, then cut apart. The pair produce two identical HSTs (Half Square Triangles). J'ai profité d'une semaine de vacances pour faire 2 blocs d'un coup pour le Rainbow Scrap Challenge . Des nichoirs bien sûr ! La couleur du mois pour le RSC 2018 a été annoncé : du vert ! Allez au boulot... Well, not everything is green, but this is the new color of the month for the RSC! Lime and yellow green... hmmmm, nice color!

Ce mois-ci, j'ai bien envie de reprendre Véga... This month, I plan to bring out Véga... Ce top est le quilt mystère 2010 de France Patchwork. Un peu laissé de côté ! (Plus d'infos sur ce quilt ici ) This top is the France Patchwork's 2010 Mystery Quilt (more about this quilt here ) Je vais étudier les possibilités de bordures et de finition, pour qu'il sorte enfin de son état d'encours ! My goal for March is to design and audition borders, and maybe even sew one!
